About Softpiers

Softpiers is an independent software studio where engineering expertise meets product thinking.

Built on more than a decade of hands-on software engineering experience, the studio focuses on developing practical digital products, exploring emerging technologies, and contributing to open-source software.

The approach is simple: understand the problem, make thoughtful technical decisions, and build software that lasts.

Behind the Studio

Softpiers was founded by Sollymanul Islam, drawing on more than a decade of experience designing, architecting, and bringing software systems to life.

With a background spanning distributed platforms, cloud-native technologies, and modern software architecture, his work has evolved beyond individual systems toward a broader interest in how technology can simplify complexity and create meaningful experiences.

Softpiers grew from that perspective — a place where technical depth meets curiosity, where ideas can be explored independently, and where thoughtful engineering becomes the foundation for new products and intelligent applications.

The ambition is not simply to build software, but to create things with purpose: practical in their application, considered in their design, and built to evolve.
